Lineup Announcement #1

–First Lineup Announcement–

We are kicking off the announcements for Paddlefest 2019 and are so excited to reveal the first two artists that will be performing at this year’s festival:

The Deep Dark Woods (Saskatoon, SK)

The Deep Dark Woods fuse spooky prairie folk with Texas country blues and California psychedelia, with a touch of the Macabre found in the lyrics and frontman Ryan Boldt’s haunting voice. We think the sound of The Deep Dark Woods will be well suited next to the Salty Sea of St. Andrews!

Mama’s Broke (Halifax, NS)

Mama’s Broke are a powerful folk duo that deliver a compelling performance with heart and raw energy. Their two strong voices blend to create haunting harmonies, while they artfully juggle fiddle, banjo, guitar and mandolin, and incorporate traditional dance and foot percussion into their performances.

These two acts are just the first of an exciting, diverse lineup we’ve put together for this year’s event. More artists will be announce in the coming weeks, with a full announcement coming in March!
